Authentic Vintage Signed Schiaparelli Vitrail Watermelon Rhinestone Bracelet and Earring Set won in auction several years ago. Schiaparelli jewelry company in the U.S. created several different jewelry designs using vitrial rhinestones, often called watermelon stones, because of their pink center and green outer edge. This fabulous modernist/brutalist bracelet and earring set uses dark vitrail rhinestones in the center of a "scrunched" japanned metal setting that is linked together to form the bracelet. Schiaparelli used these vitrial rhinestones in several different designs, but finding them in this setting is rare. A rare example of the 1950s U.S.-made Schiaparelli jewelry.
