Vintage Russian Fedoskino black lacquer box featuring a hand-painted scene depicting a winter landscape with a church, snow-covered wooden houses and frosted trees. Measures about 6 3/8" by 2 3/8" and 2 1/4" high. The box is in excellent condition, but makes a creaking sound when opened, likely due to painted hinges.
