Rare Vintage 1950s Nishi Doll, Nanamaigasa Dohjohji ND, made in Japan. Approximately 23" tall, a Mid-Century Modern treasure.Kimono, obi, obiage are all 100% silk. Hair and face are in near-perfect condition. Wearing a charming red brocade kimono with juban and ichimatsu obi.Circa 1958; this doll was brought back as a gift from Japan. Rare 24" version of this doll, a very nice piece, especially for the Asian or mid-century modern motif.
