Original vintage 1930's Dr Pepper soda metal advertising thermometer sign. Picked in Canton, Texas at Canton Trade Days. Bottle shape on thermometer is embossed. Original yellow paint has oxidized and turned brown due to age. (This is NOT rust! The oxidation causes the yellow pigments to break down and turn to a brown color. Clear coat is still intact.) Thermometer is bright and in working condition. Some paint loss, bruises and dents - see pictures. Some rusting at the bottom around the pre-drilled hole (rust has been removed).
