Vintage Chinese carved rosewood sculpture of Liu Haichan (刘海蟾) with a 3-footed toad holding a coin in its mouth.Approximately 16-1/2 inches tall. Features glass eyes and bone teeth. An older sticker is present on the base, along with a mark resembling the Chinese character 目 (Mu) meaning eye.In great condition. Previously owned by a family of Chinese descent living in the US for several decades. A unique piece of Asian art and culture.
