This art porcelain serving set was made by Sango, Japan in the 1950's. It features an attractive floral transfer with a hand-painted watercolor look. The flower is Thistle with pink blooms and green leaves. There are five pieces: the serving plate measures 12 inches in diameter and 1 5/8 inches deep; four salad plates are 7 inches in diameter each. Marked: "Sango China /Made in Japan" on the backs. This midcentury set is in excellent condition. Perfect for vintage table decor.
