Rare vintage Selsi 7x,35 binoculars made by Hiyoshi Kogaku (Japan) before 1960. Features a one-piece body and solid metal hinge caps (IPD scale on top).We cleaned the prisms and blackened the sides to enhance brightness and contrast. The original vinyl-backed leather carry strap has been shortened and secured with bright metal barbell keepers. The case is in fantastic shape with unique construction details.The case and binoculars have been entirely conditioned. Focus controls are much smoother after lubrication. The hinge is a tad stiff but very usable. Enjoy stunningly clear, sharp, and wide views!
