This very hard-to-find art deco Monmouth pitcher is in excellent pre-owned condition. It was originally produced in the 1930s.&nbsp;The Monmouth Pottery company was founded in 1892 in Monmouth, IL. It was purchased in 1906 by the Western Pottery Co. Monmouth became their ‘Artware Division.’<br><br>The Monmouth mark, a maple leaf, was used until 1930. After 1930, a paper label was sometimes used, as in the case of this pitcher. Later pieces are unmarked.&nbsp; The pitcher stands 6" tall and measures 8" handle-to-spout. Features a stunning yellow color. On the bottom, you can still find the rare paper label that gives the original style no. - #381. Paper labels are often missing on vintage and antique pieces like this, making them much harder to find and identify.<br><br>In Very Good to Excellent Pre-Owned Condition, free of chips, cracks, or crazing, though there is a little discoloration in the glaze after almost 100 years that you probably won't even notice at first.
