This 'spiralis' mutation of Myrtillocactus geometrizans cristata “elite” was carefully isolated and cultivated by Plants for the Southwest nursery in Tucson, renowned for desert plant genetics. Originally purchased as the mother plant, this clone has proven to be a stable mutation with almost no reverts. Propagates easily, roots fast, and exhibits fast growth.
