It is an original, fully detailed life sized carving. The bird is hand carved from basswood and painted with acrylic colors. It is mounted on a hand carved wooden base. Glass eyes and metal feet. The size of the carving measures 5″ high (including the base) and 4 1/2″ from the tip of the beak to the end of the tail. It's signed by the artist.
