Vintage HASTE de Lux of Mexico timepiece from the 1950s. Made by Buren watch co. (Swiss maker) for Haste. Aztec-inspired design with stepped lines. Dial has a hatch look. H.A. Steele Co. of Mexico was a supplier of pocket watches and wristwatches for the Mexican railroad. The case is rolled gold. Movement: 410 Buren Swiss made, 17 jewels, serviced and keeps decent time for its age.
