This is a pair of drawings by Jose Guadalupe Posada. Posada's "calaveras" (skeletons) are renowned for their satirical commentary on social and political issues of his time and have become closely associated with the imagery of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The smaller one measures 4” tall by 2.75” wide, and the larger one is 4” tall by 5.5” wide. They are in thin matte gold frames and ready for hanging.
