I am selling this rare large oval serving platter made in Limoges, France by Haviland in the early 1900s (the backmark was used between 1894-1931). The pattern is Schleiger 1125, a simple white porcelain design with dual bands of gold trim, one wide and one narrow.<br><br>This piece features two juice troughs, with grooves running around the platter for capturing meat drippings. It is a simple and elegant pattern that will complement any china pattern, a white porcelain with elegant gold trim around the rim. It has a zippered padded case for safekeeping. It is in good vintage condition. No chips or crazing. There is a minor crack at one edge of the platter that you can see but cannot feel if you rub your finger over it. Has light scratches and wear from normal use. Zippered case is functional, has slight yellowing and light stains. See photos for details of condition.
