Antique Star of Bethlehem Quilt, handmade circa 1850. All hand-stitched with natural dyes. A wonderful addition for any vintage or antique collector.Features botanical dyes: Turkey red (madder root), over-dyed green (blue and yellow). Minor fading in butterscotch print. Immaculate hand-stitching with small, uniform stitches.Measures 92 x 86 inches. Star is about 72x72 inches, comprised of diamonds in Turkey red fabric, early blue, over dyed green, double pink, and butterscotch prints. As-is, untested.
