Rare antique Japanese Meiji period Satsuma pottery vase, dating from the late 1800s or early 1900s. Lavishly decorated with incredibly detailed and intricate etched floral decorations. Features side carved dragons and bottom detailed dragons symbolizing power, wisdom, and protection. AS-IS.Some crazing throughout (characteristic of Satsuma pieces). One chip on the left handle Dragon. No cracks, breaks, or repairs (except for the chip). Vase is decorated in a variety of colors, including gold and a beautifully muted Mocha brown.
