Antique 1880s black brocade cape with beaded fringe. Requires TLC, perfect for vintage collectors or costume enthusiasts. This feels like silk or some type of rayon mix. It does have some age related flaws The beading is all intact but it is also mixed with the silk brocade and some of that has withered away and only the string is left. This is seen in my photos, The ribbon that ties it is also shattered which makes me think it is silk. there is a small split in the cape part up by the collar.. It is one size and should fit most. It measures 11" long.
