Beautiful and classic Lalique Coppelia oval jewelry box, made of opalescent art glass with embellished garlands of roses in relief.Box has gilt brass mount bands on top and bottom with hinge, Art Deco Style.Originally designed by R. Lalique and issued as a covered box (no bands or hinge). Design introduced in 1913 and later reissued as a hinged box.Made by Lalique – France circa 1960.Engraved 'Lalique France' on the base.Oval box measures 3 1/2" high, 7" long and 5 1/4" wide. Weighs 3.6 pounds.Pre owned item excellent vintage condition, it doesn't close hermetically as shown in pictures however it doesn't affect functionality.Comes sanitized, from a clean smoke pet free home.
